Meet the Designer

The principle designer and owner Taryn Elizabeth Cochran has always had an intuitive passion for making others happy by turning their spaces into something they loved. This mompreneur has always enjoyed putting different colors with fabrics of various textures together.  As a young military dependent she noticed how her mother could always make every home they lived in feel as well as look warm and inviting.  That feeling ignited her dream further into interior design.  Taryn could take one look at a room and envision the entire room from the flooring to the chandelier and make it come to life. In 2015 she decided to test out her dream and called it Taryn Elizabeth Designs.

Taryn continued to work a full time job while pursuing her dream as time permitted.  As time went on she worked on her talent by decorating her home along with the homes of friends and family members. Scared to fully give in, Taryn put her dream on hold and focused on her daughter, college, and being newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  In the summer of 2018 a family friend was moving into a new home and Taryn offered her assistance in decorating the new space. And it was at this time that her passion for interior design was reignited and she decided this time she was not going to put her dreams on hold any longer and stepped out on faith. The fire was back and in full force but now with more maturity and ambition.  With the support of family and friends motivating and pushing her, Taryn started booking clients in late 2018 and hasn’t slowed down since. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs like her father who showed his support by creating her first logo and website, Taryn knew this was only the beginning and that more is to come…….just wait!
